The
huge dance floor in the Imperial Ballroom was filled to the rim!
"Young"
Persian Center volunteer's preparing to set a "haft-seen"
table in the street for "Chahrshanbeh Souri". This
was the first time EVER that bonfires were lit in the traditional
style on the entire 2000 block of Durant Avenue in Berkeley,
enhanced by food and music!
Wearing
traditional Persian clothes, a group of beautiful Iranian children
sang "ay iran" for the crowd twice. (encore requested!)
Persian
Center's young volunteer's helped out with distributing pledge
forms.
"Morteza"
worked the crowd by performing his all-time favorites tunes.
Packed
tables! Attendance was much higher than expected.
