land of poets, writers, civilization... A place where the world's
first human rights declaration was made. A rich homeland of culture,
color and pastime. The strength of this culture has given us
reason for pride and self-regard.
THIS IS
THE PROMISE OF PERSIAN CENTER
More than 2
decades have past since our most recent migration to this land.
Today as the world becomes smaller and smaller, thousands of
Iranians continue to migrate to different parts of the world.
During this era, we have become and established and accomplished
community. we have moved far beyond the struggle for physical
survival and now we search for the nourishment of our souls and
hearts yearning the culture we have left behind.
The Persian
Center encourages and facilitates programs contributing to the
cultural, professional, and artistic advancement and enrichment
of the Community. It is a place of gathering where Iranians,
Iranian descendants, and all interested can unite to celebrate
traditional cultural holidays such as No-Rooz, Mehregan, and
Yalda, as well as hold other ceremonies such as concerts, art
exhibitions and even traditional weddings!
